What a fun treat to open our email and find someone cute looking at us! Madalyn's 8 month report came today; here are the latest stats from straight from the report:

Weight: 14.14 lbs.
Height: 25.98 in.
Description of Daily Routine:
Sleeping: She goes to bed between 8:30-9:00 p.m., sleeps the whole night until 5:00 a.m. At that time she drinks her milk and continues sleeping until 7:00 a.m. She stays awake for about three hours 3 or 4 times a day. She takes a ½ hour nap after her bath. Afternoon nap is from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. The rest of the day she’s awake.
Eating: She drinks 5 ounces of Gain Advance formula with one scoop of rice cereal in all her bottles. She drinks it every 3 – 3 1/2 hours. For breakfast she eats cereal with spoon (wheat and honey flavored or fruit flavored); for lunch, blended veggies and chicken, and for dinner she eats fruit Gerber compote. She doesn’t eat very big quantities.
Bathing: She takes a daily bath around 10:30 – 11:00 a.m.
She enjoys it and now likes to play.
Extra Information about the child:
No vaccines this month.
She has 1 bowel movement per day.
She has had good health.
Two bottom teeth.

Thank you, Lord, for giving Madalyn a wonderful eight months of life. We know she is wrapped in your loving arms as she continues to grow and develop. We praise you for her life and that you've placed her with a loving foster family. Please continue to protect her. Lord, this process is so full on unknowns. It is truly amazing that NO ONE knows the date Madalyn will come home--only you. I pray that you would continue to prepare our hearts and home for her arrival. We look only to you during this time as our single source of comfort and peace. Thank you for this faith journey. Prepare us now to be full of good health, sound mind and gentle heart to be the best parents we can be for Madalyn. Thank you, again, Father for your lovingkindness. I was just thinking of you tonight and thought I'd check your blog. Love the pictures of your beautiful little girl. We pray that those pics will soon be of her in your arms, in your home.
