Today's Prayer

Thank you, thank you, thank you, Father, for all of the sweet love and encouragement you have granted us these last few days! Hearing from loved ones far and near, and being able to share our joy with them through the internet is truly wonderful. We are literally floating on your gracious blessings. We can't stop looking at this precious miracle you created, counting every finger and every toe and every tiny wrinkle--and Father, the longing to hold her is growing stronger with each passing hour. We cling to you for comfort. Thank you!

God, we are so blessed and honored that you called us to experience this awesome journey. Thank you, sweet Holy Lord, for your amazing love, grace and provsion. We look to you for all our needs--and we know that in your perfect time, you will meet them. We pray for your continued strength, comfort and love to cover Madalyn while she's in Guatemala, and ask for your peace to wrap all of us during this time apart. We pray her little heart is growing in love for us, even at this very moment, as our hearts are growing in deep love for her. Please keep her healthy, safe and warm today. Please shower her birthmom with your love and fill her with great contentment knowing Madalyn will have a safe home. Thank you for granting her the strength to give up her baby for adoption, rather than choosing another route. May you alone fill the void that must be in her heart. And Father, bless Madalyn's foster mom today. Grant her patience, and allow her love to overflow onto this precious child--please take a portion of the love in my heart and give it to her--please, Father, so that Madalyn will not go one moment or take one breath without the security of love.

Father, we ask You to continue to show us the way we must take in this journey--that all the papers, finances and legal details fall into perfect place. We praise you, Almighty God, for who You are--Creator, Father, Lord, King, and Everlasting Love.
