Well, things have moved pretty steadily along with what's affectionately called the "paper pregnancy." We are in our final stage of paperwork, and the most daunting: our dossier. This is virtually our life on paper that will represent us in Guatemala. Please pray that we are able to get all the i's dotted and the t's crossed...it is literally that detailed.
They tell us that Madalyn will possibly be born around the holidays, Christmas at the latest. That is if I can find time to get my paperwork completed soon!!! :)
Things with the Guatemalan government are moving along steadily. We are so blessed to be working with such a respectable agency. They have been consumate professionals. Tonight, Greg and I are headed to our agency for a training session entitled "Attachment and Bonding." Should be pretty interesting. We have a "meet and greet" on Friday--there should be families who adopted from Guatemala there--can't wait to see those cute babies!
I will try my best to post updates on this site as things progress. Please pray for baby Madayln's development in the womb, and that her birthmother is protected and in good health during her pregnancy. Much love to you all--K & G
